Android Developer

Our client is a global leader in access solutions and products. They designs and engineers residential garage door openers, commercial door operators and gate entry systems.
Our client is also the parent company of the largest wholesale distributor of perimeter access control equipment in the U.S.
Our clients technology is embedded in garage door openers and lights, can be easily added to Wi-Fi networks to control these devices and is being incorporated into a growing array of future home products. This allows everyday consumers to interact with our clients products from mobile phones and web capable devices over the Internet.

The Android Developer will work directly with other developers, product architects and leads (such as engineering, marketing, etc.) to translate requirements and the business product roadmap into code and a successful solution.

• have 2+ years of experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining of native Android apps
• have experience in creating technical documentation
• have experience in building Unit Tests
• have experience with GIT for source control
• have a good understanding of home automation technologies (Alexa, Google, Apple home, etc...)
• have experience with Agile or Lean Processes
• have Good written and verbal English skills
