What You Will Do:
- Responsibility for general accounting according to both local and international accounting requirements;
- Keeping accounting and tax records on a timely basis - ensure month end closing procedures taken in place, including balance reconciliation, accruals, etc.;
- Preparing and timely submitting accounting, tax, and statistical reports to Lithuanian Authorities;
- Maintaining the company's accounting policy in a state that meets the current business needs of the company, state of the market, and legal requirements;
- As an experienced member of the team, support and delegate tasks as well as provide training to new and existing team members.
What We Expect:
- Bachelor or higher degree in Accounting or Finance;
- Proficient knowledge of basic accounting principles;
- Experience with trial balance, general ledger;
- High level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to prioritize demands and meet deadlines;
- Basic knowledge of accounting software;
- Excellent written skills in English;
- Creative approach to problem-solving;
- Team leadership experience and skills would be an advantage.
