Senior JAVA / API Developer

I'm Vytautas Kavoliūnas, head of Order Management unit in Telia CPS IT Lithuania. I'm looking for Senior JAVA / API Developer to join my growing Integrations team in Order Management. We develop and maintain Integration layer systems, API's, microservices and etc.

Your next opportunity?

You will work as a developer and be a member of the development team, which is led by Scrum Master - supporting several Agile Release Trains.

You will contribute to the technical capacity of our team that delivers API's driven solutions that create an excellent experience for our Customers.

Your daily responsibilities:

• Produce clean, efficient code based on best practices
• Ability to split up complex problems into smaller, manageable chunks
• Write Unit tests
• Create technical documentation
• Recommend and execute improvements

Who are you?

You are passionate about technology and you dare to experiment. You are eager to find new ways of working to optimize both your team's and your customer's everyday life. You are skilled and great at working in cross-functional and virtual teams with people from other parts of the organization.

Your experience and personality:

• Proven experience in system integrations and development
• Experienced in back-end Java and Spring
• Hands-on with Open API and RESTful API implementations
• Positive "Can Do" attitude
• Forward thinking
• Good language skills in written and spoken English

Extra points for:

• Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, MS SQL
• Public Cloud experience — AWS is preferred
• API management and Service integrations platforms
• OAuth or other security aspects (JWT, OIDC, etc.)
• Container Technology (Docker)
• Messaging, Kafka

We offer a monthly base salary from 3 636 Eur (gross) to 5 455 Eur (gross) plus an annual bonus which varies depending on your performance and Telia's results. Besides for each employee Telia has additional employee benefit package which includes:
