JAVA Developer (POLIS Project)

JAVA DEVELOPER

You will be working on POLIS project:

POLIS project is Police Information System (POLIS) Suite - is a suite of enterprise web applications that are aimed to support and empower law enforcement and national security agencies. POLIS Suite features:

• Register of Police Registered Events
• Unified Force Management System
• Police Detention Facilities Management System
• Bio-metric Data Register
• Firearms in Civil Circulation Register
• POLIS Browser for Desktop & Mobile
• Administrative Law Offences Register
• KPI, BI, and Reports Management System
• Preventive Action Management Information System (e-Constable)
• Case Management System
• E-Police Public portal (www.epolicija.lt)

POLIS suite is a number of mission-critical applications and information systems used by Lithuania National Police, Criminal Police, Border Control, and other law enforcement agencies operating in a 24x7 model.

Java Developer will have a very important mission to maintain and develop the various platforms to ensure smooth police performance. Your main responsibilities will be:

• Creating large scale WEB applications using the most popular JAVA frameworks
• Exploring new business solutions to continually enhance functionality that fulfills user needs
• Preparing and producing releases of software components
• Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Writing well designed, testable, efficient code

We expect you to have:

• Bachelor‘s degree in a relevant field
• Have 2+ years of experience working with JAVA
• Demonstrate accuracy, responsibility and motivation in your daily tasks
• Good team player working in agile scrum environment
• Have experience with Spring boot, REST API, SQL
• Be familiar with JMS, ELK stack, Docker, Angular (optional)
