Financial Services Accountant

As a member of the PR Northern Europe Financial Services team, Financial Services Accountant role is performance of delegated accounting and other tasks with due care and required level of independence, ensuring that data is processed accurately, in conformance with local accounting and tax legislation, and is timely. 

Overall Responsibility:

• To act strictly in accordance with limits set in Matrix of Authorisation and Delegation of Authority 
• General accounting: to ensure that accounting records are processed and maintained up to standards required locally and by the PR Group to enable provision of information necessary for sound financial management and tax reporting as well as budgetary control
• Treasury: to ensure that the companies have sufficient but adequate cash to run the business. To ensure cash forecasts and reporting to PR Group are accurate and timely
• Bank: to upload payment files to bank and authorise them as a first signature
• Financial Reporting: is to ensure that financial reporting to the Group and to external parties (eg. Statutory reporting) is compliant with local and IFRS requirements, is timely and accurate
• Tax compliance and reporting – to assist Tax Compliance and Reporting Manager to prepare data for tax reporting, review and approve drafts of reports etc.
