Scientist III - Analytical Assay Development (Cell Biology) (209518BR)

Analytical QC methods development and validation, troubleshooting and continuous support of cGMP compliance biopharmaceutical products used in Cell and Gene therapies.

Responsibilities

Develop analytical methods for use in protein functionality / quality analysis
Maintain knowledge of relevant fields and techniques
Prepare plans, reports, presentations, describe experiments in laboratory notebooks
Validate / verify analytical methods in accordance with ICH guidelines
Independently prepare SOP’s, instructions, plans and reports of method development and validation
Contribute to ideas for new products and improve procedures
Support of our products to product management and manufacturing teams

BSc, MSc or PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry, or other life science related field
2+ years of experience in pharma or biotech industry, preferably in analytical development
Desired technical skills: protein analysis (ELISA, WB and other immunoassays), Protein and nucleic acid electrophoresis, DNA/RNA analysis by qPCR, ability to apply HPLC and Mass spectrometry knowledge for protein analysis.
Understanding of enzymology and analytical techniques
Knowledge in statistical methods and regulations related to biologics would be an advantage
Skills in relevant laboratory procedures and use of equipment
Analyze experimental data and effectively explain conclusions. Design and complete follow-on experiments independently
Mentor less-experienced staff with technical issues and project challenges
Highly motivated to work in high-pace environment, committed to complete all tasks on time
