The field-based Brand Manager Neurology/Rare Diseases in the Baltics at Ipsen is a critical role focused on impacting patient lives through strategic engagement with HCPs and advocating for patient access to vital treatments. 
This position requires a compassionate, dedicated individual with a complex understanding of neurology& rare diseases, patient care, and the healthcare environment.
 
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

 Neurology:
  • Lead responsibility for driving execution of marketing initiatives and align brand positioning, messaging, and key strategies in Baltics, working closely with Global marketing counterparts.
  • Lead development of clear marketing tactical plans for Baltics and contribute to the clear articulation of a compelling brand strategy across marketing, sales, and medical functions.
  • Be accountable for the development and successful management of an annual brand budget.
  • Identify innovative and compliant mechanisms to engage and provide value to key customers and differentiate Ipsen based on key company and brand strengths. Apply creativity, innovation & out-of-box thinking to solve complex business / marketplace issues.
  • Effectively engage and communicate with the neurology key account managers, support the development and execution of highly effective sales training meetings, provide needed trainings.
Rare Diseases:
  • Drive sales initiatives by effectively engaging with HCPs, focusing on the benefits and value of treatments for patients with rare diseases.
  • Organize and conduct educational sessions and discussions with HCPs to deepen their understanding of the therapeutic area. Foster long-term relationships based on trust and clinical knowledge. KOL mapping and engagement.
  • Analyze market dynamics and HCP needs to optimize reach and impact.
  • Develop and implement business and key account plans for the Baltics that prioritize patient access to treatments.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities to maintain expert knowledge of rare diseases, treatment options, competitive products, and sales techniques.
  • Regularly evaluate sales performance against goals, utilizing insights to refine and adjust strategies for maximizing effectiveness and impact.

Candidates' Competencies, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proven track record in sales and/or marketing, preferably with experience in rare diseases. Excellent understanding of Baltic pharmaceutical business and regional needs.
  • Excellent organisation, implementation, budgetary and project management
  • competencies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, sales planning abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with HCPs and drive patient-centric projects.
  • Strong team player with successful cross-functional experience with market / patient access and medical colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Demonstrated success in launching new products.
  • Maintaining high ethical standards in all business practices.
  • Science/Medical related and Business/Marketing related qualifications at a Post Graduate level are preferred.
  • High level of verbal and written English.
  • Valid driving license.
