My client, who is an information technology services and consulting company is looking for a Azure Data Engineer with experience of Apache Spark for an initial period of 6 months on a freelance basis.
Urgent role - interview tomorrow - Friday 5th of August or Monday 8th of August.
Requirements
Good working knowledge of Azure data services e.g. Data Lake (gen2), Azure Storage, Data Factory, Databricks, Blob Storage
Working knowledge of Azure Databricks or Databricksplatform
Good knowledge of Apache Spark framework (SPARK 3.0x)
Databricks Delta Lake – ACID transactions, metadata handling
programming skills in Python
Proficient (over a years experience) with both Python (in a Spark environment) and SQL (PySpark & Spark SQL)
Experience with Power BI Highly desirable
Agile methodolgyexperience
CI/CD, Azure DevOps experience, highly desirable
