AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer

Our offices are in Vilnius and Kaunas, but we are providing a flexible working environment. 

Currently we are on the lookout for DevOps Engineer who will join one of our projects in the Educational industry. In this project we are helping teachers to reduce manual work for assessing students' work. Developed platforms are used not only in the UK but across the world, even some one the schools in Lithuania are involved and might be using the products. The other project is from the Entertainment industry. This team is working on maintaining the Sales, Finances and Operations services of a well-known video game catalogue, creating new and improving current functionalities.

What you’ll do:

• You will maintain existing systems in development, test and production environments, as well as developing new systems to support our business applications.

• You will optimize systems for performance and scalability, building infrastructure and eliminating work through automation.

• Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services—from design through deployment, operation, and refinement.

• Support your team members by sharing quality-led best practices.

• Be a key player in the DevOps Chapter, taking part in various initiatives and innovations, presenting your ideas and democratically voting on the implementation of processes.

Skills and qualities we appreciate:

• AWS Cloud experience, CI/CD tooling.

• Managing AWS more services like VPC, IAM, Route53, Certificate Manager, Lambda.

• Infrastructure as code such as IaaC (Terraform).

• Containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.

• Linux knowledge, Bash or Python scripting.
