Omnisend is a product-focused company where you will feel instrumental in creating a global product—one with a strong position in the US. We are engineers, not developers, and we take ownership of the product.
The entire team works together. This includes software engineers, QAs, designers, and product managers—all responsible for the delivery of the product.
We have many engineering challenges, such as handling over 70,000+ e-commerce brands with up to millions of visitors a day.
We work with customer support data. We solve real customer problems as we are in a short feedback cycle with our users through customers’ calls.
We are flexible and adapt quickly to an ever-changing business environment. To help quick and effective collaboration, we use the Miro board.
We experiment a lot to validate hypotheses before making decisions on how to build the product.
We are data-driven — we primarily use the OKR and GIST framework.

Our Frontend Engineers are currently working on these main challenges:

  • Creating an online email builder—this will help our customers to create their marketing campaigns easily, ideally in a single click.
  • Creating a new data-driven, dynamic users’ segmentation system that will enable our customers to accelerate their e-commerce businesses.
  • Refactoring monolith Frontend architecture to micro-frontends so that each product team is responsible for its own scope. Part of the refactoring is also migrating our codebase to React.

Our Frontend Engineers are currently working with these tools:

  • Our main code base is written with Angular, Typescript, Ngrx, Angular.js, and JavaScript.
  • For speed and visual consistency, we have developed our own components library that we document with Storybook.
  • To ensure quality, we use Sentry, Jest, Protractor, Browserstack/Litmus.
  • To optimize customer experience and interactions, we use Fullstory, Mixpanel, and LaunchDarkly for quick and safe iterations.
