Master Data and Payments specialistAlliance for Recruitment

Oversee and process activities related to payments and vendor master data tasks.
Adhere to processes related to the creation, maintenance, and quality of vendor master data to ensure consistency across multiple locations.
Process business requests related to the creation and updates of vendor master data and troubleshoot issues related to data.
Execute payments, review, and correct the payment batch for external and internal suppliers.
Process outgoings/incomings Currency/SEPA payments through online banking platform and reflect it in SAP.
Maintain high levels accuracy, even when under time pressure in the case of urgent or manual payments.
Meet critical deadlines for all payment processing work, adhering to bank payment cut-off times.
Identify any areas or processes for improvement.
Implement and ensure that global accounting policies and procedures, agreed internal processes are implemented and followed.
Train and educate new and existing finance colleagues.
Conduct month end closing and year-end closing procedures.

Relevant higher education in finance field is an advantage.
Relevant and/or similar work experience within payments / accounting field (minimum 2 years).
Experience working with Procure-to-Pay process and Master Data Management.
Ability to analyze and resolve questions and problems independently.
Ability to handle multiple activities successfully.
Proficient Excel, Outlook skills and experience with SAP is a plus.
Willingness to learn.
Proven team player.
Analytical mindset with solution-oriented problem-solving skills.
Co-operation skills in a cross-cultural organization.
Fluent in English, both verbal and written communication. Additional languages are an asset.
