Job description:
Godel is on the constant lookout for talented QA Engineer to join one of our teams engaged in development of business applications for major British companies. We always have new and exciting projects with opportunities to improve your skills in a wide spectrum of technologies related to Web, API, Mobile development. We would be looking for Middle level professionals.
Main job responsibilites:
- Review requirements and specifications to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test documentation (including test strategies, test plans, test cases etc.)
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
- Perform functional and non-functional testing activities
- Create bug reports of a high quality
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of QA experience
- Solid understanding of QA process
- The ability to provide full cycle of QA service
- Ability to cover both UI and API testing (Postman, Fiddler, Swagger, etc.)
- Knowledge and skills to work in agile environment
- Excellent analytical skills
- Good English, both written and spokenBachelors degree in relevant field
- Being self-motivated and able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
Big advantage would be if you have (if Not we would be happy to teach you!):
- Experience working with Databases (SQL, NoSQL)
- Good CI/CD process understanding (Jenkins, TeamCity, Azure DevOps, AWS Code Build, etc.)
- Experience working with any test frameworks (NUnit, TestNG, JUnit, xUnit, etc.)
- Experience working with any automation tool (Selenium, Protractor, Playwright, Cypress, etc)
- Experience working with BDD frameworks (Specflow, Cucumber, Behave, etc.)
