The role
The Leadership Academy Specialist will play a key role in the curation, development, design and delivery of Leadership Academy content. The individual will also participate in strategic projects such as our New Hire Orientation Program where they will facilitate the program from EMEA/APAC audiences, Moody’s front line leader program—Leadership Essentials program, and Moody’s 360 Feedback and Development Process— Leadership Insights. The Leadership Academy Specialist will also participate in the development of new initiatives e.g., women’s development programming, DE&I training, junior officer retention programs. Finally, the Leadership Academy Specialist will work with the team on data analytics from our programs and processes to help build significant insights.
Responsibilities:
• Understand project needs to provide program curriculum improvements and recommendations.
• Facilitate programs, including our New Hire Orientation Program in EMEA and APAC.
• Work with Academy Program Leaders to build out our New Hire journey (e.g., Manager On-Boarding, Buddy Program, etc.)
• Partner with the Leadership Academy and Moody’s University team on programs (e.g., Leadership Insights, Leadership Essentials) to support the implementation of outstanding solutions
• Curate new content on Moody’s University (e.g., build playlists) and market our offerings, highlighting employee engagement points.
• See opportunities to leverage metrics and data to reach target audiences and track impact analytics.
• Provide coordination and communications support on numerous programs.
Qualifications
• Previous work experience in a corporate setting, in Learning & Development roles preferred.
• Can communicate effectively verbally and in writing, with confidence at all levels and in a range of formats and channels.
• Can facilitate training programs keeping the learners needs in mind.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365 PowerPoint (e.g., can develop compelling PowerPoint Presentations using Moody’s Branding).
• Ability to learn and use various social media platforms and teamwork tools e.g., Slack, LinkedIn, SharePoint.
• Ability to research and synthesize information on a range of topics for multiple audience types.
• Focused self-starter; resourceful and able to prioritize (and re-prioritize) in a fast-paced and hybrid environment with shifting objectives.
• Skilled in collaborating as part of a team and working independently to deliver results.
• Enthusiastic about Leadership Development, assessment and coaching, and learning program development.
• Pursuing Graduate Degree in Organizational Psychology or related field, preferably in human resources, psychology, organizational psychology or a discipline with a strong focus on learning and leadership development.
• Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design principles preferred.
• Strong project management skills.
