To ensure all financial records and statements are in line with laws, regulations, and accounting standards, we are looking for an Accountant to join our growing Finance and accounting team. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, communication skills, excellent attention to details, experience in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping +3 years

Responsibilities:

• Perform standard bookkeeping functions (entering daily transactions, monitoring AP/AR, preparing reconciliations, preparing primary journal entries and account analysis)
• Ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing. Create monthly, quarterly, and annual closing reports.
• Participate in internal and external audit procedures.
• Conduct ad hoc financial/operational analysis as required
• Support the finance team in creating procedures to improve accounting systems and company policies.

Requirements:

• Higher degree in Finance, Economics, Business or Accounting;
• Proficient user of MS Excel;
• Ability to recognize when something doesn’t look right and follow up on the cause until you figure out why it doesn’t.
