Better requires process, discipline, and simplification

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation and execution of the Internal Testing and Monitoring for the Central Contact Point in Italy (hereinafter "CCP") and more precisely to conduct control activities and compliance control testing targeting the outsourced AML activities falling under the responsibility of the CCP. You will also perform root cause analysis, develop recommendations for improvement and prepare executive communication flows with Manager assistance to be provided to the CCP.

Here are the additional responsibilities for the role:

• Ensure, with Manager assistance, that the CCP maintains effective oversight of AML activities that are assigned to its direct responsibility through the execution of an efficient and effective internal control system;

• Assist with the development of a detailed annual control monitoring and testing plan specific to activities under the responsibility of the CCP and those processes which have been outsourced;

• Execute with assistance from colleagues and Management, analytical continuous monitoring controls to maintain the program, processes and control environment effectiveness within the scope of the AML activities that fall under the responsibility of the CCP;

• With Manager assistance, help the process owners and the CCP with the execution of the Corrective Action/Preventive Action process.

For such a significant role, we require you to have:

• Work experience in financial / banking intermediaries or consultancy companies in an internal audit, corporate internal testing or quality assurance environment or in control functions;

• Adequate experience in any of the following: Italian AML Legislation, AML, CFT or Regulatory Compliance, general and/or risk-based compliance;

• Fluency in English and Italian languages (oral and written);

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal);

• Must be technically adaptable and able to be comfortable with systems/processes analysis;

• Knowledge of process control, indicators, and drawing up appropriate guidelines, protocols, and procedures;

• Experience in the mapping techniques, design and analysis of processes, systems and organizations;

• High analytical, organizational and problem-solving/planning skills, especially in the definition and execution of an internal control system;

• Ability to work in autonomy with minimal supervision and to work to deadlines;

• Excellent multi-tasking ability;

• Computer proficiency including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

The monthly gross base salary range is 1524 – 2398 EUR. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies.
