Your responsibilities would be:

  • Developing, refining, validating and managing program plans to support on time and on budget delivery of major initiatives across the enterprise;
  • Responsibility for utilizing project management accepted best practices to facilitate the successful coordination of all internal and external resources required to complete assigned programs;
  • Providing timely and concise communications to Group Leadership Team regarding program status and pending issues; analyzing processes and making recommendations for optimizing resources and program delivery;
  • Identify and engage project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle;
  • Manage coordination and planning between multiple teams, customers, and stakeholders;
  • Building consensus among multiple technical/functional leads relative to program scope, task execution, staffing, and issue resolution;
  • Managing the development of financial budgets, controls and measurements to monitor program progress;
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance and controls are met;
  • Drive schedule adherence, motivate and enthuse project team members to achieve target dates;
  • Identification of potential risks within the program; proactive management of program issues;
  • Identification of program scope changes, schedule changes and issue escalation;
  • Act as a mentor to more junior project management team members and provides oversight as needed on other projects or programs;
  • Assist with other projects as requested by a member of management.

Here's what you'll need to be considered for this opportunity:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience in complex new product development program management. Program management experience with medical device new product development would be valued;
  • Demonstrated record of leadership and results obtained through influence;
  • PMI certification highly preferred;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills;
  • Strong presence and self-confidence. Must be able to use tact when presenting project status, risks and issues to business executives and other project stakeholders;
  • Team-focused with ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and business stakeholders from diverse backgrounds;
  • Good analytical, problem solving and mathematical skills;
  • Able to succeed in highly regulated compliance oriented environment while still providing service excellence.
