What you will be doing

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for endpoint patching and managed application deployments across complex environment.

Partners with Endpoint Engineering on implementation of new endpoint solutions.

Utilizes endpoint management tools to provide reporting of environment.

Packages applications to automate delivery and increase standardization.

Collaborates with multiple technical colleagues from other teams to deliver solutions that meet technical or business requirements.

Is responsible for the endpoint experience across all business units, including OS servicing, application currency and modernization opportunities.

Measures, analyses service performance, identifies the performance problems and recommends the improvements.

Performs routine maintenance tasks.

Works with relevant stakeholders to define the endpoint administration strategy and delivers routine updates.

Contributes to the establishment or change of procedures, policies, standards, or strategies related to endpoint administration.

Participates in the identification of the vulnerabilities and mitigation plan.

Ensures regular and timely work status update for the stakeholders.

Ensures work, information, ideas, and technology flow freely among the team.

Identifies personal gaps of skills and knowledge and provides recommendations how these gaps could be mitigated.

What your background should look like

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Technical aptitude on par with a Level II engineer with demonstrated ability to learn new technology.

Familiar with modern management tools including (but not limited to) Intune, Endpoint Configuration Manager & System Center Configuration Manager, Workspace ONE and Jamf.

Able to triage and troubleshoot issues as escalated from Endpoint Support.

Experience defining enterprise patching & deployment processes.

Ability to build dashboards and reports to provide insight to endpoint environment.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or technology related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

At least 5 years of experience in IT field, 3 of which would be Infrastructure endpoint management related experience.

At least 2 years of experience in planning and executing software deployment/ patching activities.

The knowledge of a broad range of hardware and software products.
