AmerisourceBergen is looking for a Strong SQL Server Database Developer / Administrator to join our Data Warehouse Team. This role is a 50-50 split between day-to-day data processing support and administration tasks for our 3rd Party Logistics Division. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Setup up new inbound and outbound file processing requests.

Troubleshoot SSIS package failures.

Develop and Support New Extract Processes and ETL Routines.

Manage new Windows and SQL Administrative performance and security monitoring methods.

Assist in building out new code management, release and control procedures.

Hands-On experience in Microsoft SQL Server Installation, configuration, performance tuning, maintenance, and Database Administration on Production Servers.

Assist with general Windows 2012 migrations for all groups within ICS.

Assist with SQL Server upgrades / migrations.

Design and Implement High Availability and Disaster recovery Solutions.

Maintain backup & recovery plans.

Perform Security Analysis at Host, SQL, File Share levels and maintain Review Schedule for Audit Compliance.

Participate in On-Call rotation schedule.

Work with supporting vendors, application owners, infrastructure teams.

Be well organized and focused with good communication skills.

Contribute to new cloud platform choices.

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

8+ years experience with MS SQL Servers – T-SQL.

6+ years experience with ETL Design and Implementation.

5+ years experience of SQL Server Administration.

5+ years experience of working in Data Warehouse Environment.

Good Knowledge of Windows Server Administration.
