Responsibilities:
- Data management and analysis of EHS performance tracking, incident and injury reporting data and trends, energy, water and waste usage data
- Working with sites and EHS managers to ensure data is accurate, supporting documentation is defined and collected, and information is reported according to necessary timelines to meet business needs
- Validate and verify the data management including facilitating the internal audit process of the EHS data
- Become a technical expert on the EHS management database systems
- Prepare regular EHS KPI reports
- Use project management skills to organize initiatives, prioritize projects and execute against EHS goals
- Ensure greenhouse gas and operational environmental data is fit for purpose to enable performance to goal tracking and use for life cycle assessments
- Stay ahead of trends in data management, renewable resources, sustainable work processes, and environmental science
Requirements:
- Bachelor or university degree (preferably in data science, engineering, environmental science or statistics)
- 2-5 years experience in a data analyst role
- Strong knowledge of analytical tools and data collection
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software (spreadsheets, word processing), EHS management database systems and other data analysis tools
- Experience and/or familiar with EHS compliance, greenhouse gas emissions and other environmental sustainability reporting requirements is a plus
- High level of verbal and written communication skills. Fluent English is required
- Ability to work independently, accurately, and to meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with industry professionals
- Candidate must be motivated to learn and succeed in a demanding environment that requires solutions to complex challenges
- Requires schedule flexibility as may need to work with teams in different time zones
