MAN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Own the further development of the companys sustainability strategy and implementation;

Advise on and develop ESG standards, principles, and policies;

Contribute to the development and publication of sustainability reports including collecting data, material metrics, and consolidating information requests;

Conduct benchmarking, follow trends, and provide best practices for ESG disclosures while identifying gaps and presenting solutions;

Develop and maintain tools and mechanisms to evaluate, track, and report on progress against company ESG goals;

Collaborate with key internal stakeholders on relevant data and target setting;

Support the team in driving the education, communication, training, and implementation of the sustainability culture across the group of companies in all operational areas;

Manage external partnerships as it relates to sustainability strategy development and management;

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to determine ESG factors that may affect business activities;

Manage the entrusted budgets and resources and related expenses;

Monitor and ensure that ESG initiatives and commitments are executed on time and to standard;

Track actions taken by the company to minimize ESG risks and environmental impacts.

YOU ARE THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT, IF YOU HAVE:

5+ years working experience in non-financial reporting, corporate social responsibility, ESG disciplines, or sustainability or other related field;

University degree in Business management, Administration, Law or related field;

Extensive knowledge of sustainability regulations (CSRD, CSDDD, EU Taxonomy Regulations, etc.) and standards/systems of sustainability reports and activities (ESRS, GRI, TCFD, etc.)

Experience in managing ESG issues and disclosures, preferably in the energy or manufacturing industry;

Superior organizational skills;

Ability to work on significant and unique issues where coming to a resolution requires complex analysis;

Embrace Values of Collaboration, Performance and Efficiency;

Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and highly demanding as well as deadline-oriented environment;

Hands-on experience of corporate governance policies and rules (considered advantageous);

Excellent written and oral communication skills in Lithuanian as well as in English;

Ability to travel and visit company branches in Lithuania.

KN is an international energy terminal operator. Currently KN operates three liquid energy product terminals in Klaipėda, Subačius and Marijampolė, and is the operator of liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminals in Lithuania and Brazil. The company also provides commercial operation services for two out of three floating LNG terminals in Germany. Up to date, the company has contributed to more than ten different LNG projects around the world.
