We offer work in R&D department, acting as an central unit for managing strategic, innovation and IT projects and programs. Avia Solutions Group R&D department provides services to subsidiary companies world-wide related to IT Governance & Management, IT Service Delivery, IT infrastructure services, workplace support and ServiceDesk, Enterprise Applications (Digital IT Solutions, ERP), Cybersecurity and PMO. IT Infrastructure unit (with 10 team members) consist of the following teams: Microsoft platform, Linux, Cloud and Network. IT Infrastructure functions: IT Operations, IT Service/Project Delivery and IT engineering.

Main functions and responsibilities:

• Lead IT system administrators and engineers unit (Microsoft platform, Cloud infrastructure, Networks, Linux teams);
• IT Infrastructure unit functions: IT Operations, IT Solution Delivery and IT Engineering;
• Day-to-day IT infrastructure operations management;
• IT system administrators recruitment and talent management;
• Manage IT infrastructure projects and changes following Project Management Office guidance and Change Management process, team tasks and resources planning;
• Work according to ITSM/ITIL methodology and processes;
• Infrastructure availability, performance and capacity planning, financial planning;
• Ensure IT Business Continuity (HA, Backup, Disaster recovery);
• You will be working closely with IT Service Desk, IT Service Management, IT Service Delivery, Enterprise Applications and Cybersecurity teams;
• Your stakeholders beside internal teams would be IT Managers / IT responsible persons from subsidiary companies;
• Working at holding company we focus on IT Governance and Management on group level and act as internal IT Service provider for subsidiary companies.

Requirements for the position:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT Infrastructure area covering Microsoft/Linux/Network/Cloud
• Good team management skills. • Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITIL.
• Strong customer service orientation with a focus on user satisfaction
• Patience and the ability to handle user issues in a professional manner
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing IT environment.
• Very good English.
