About the role:

As a Membership Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the accurate and timely processing of health insurance claims, contract maintenance, billing updates, and communicating by phone with customers. The role involves working in compliance with Medicare guidelines, CCI coding practices, and utilizing various tools such as ICD10-data, Optum, and CMS.gov.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine to medium complex contract maintenance and billing updates.
Process and clear transactions/write-offs and output reports.
Identify and handle processing problems using critical thinking skills.
Respond appropriately and timely to telephone and written inquiries.
Update and backdate paid-through and/or paid-to date information.
Meet established Quality and Productivity Standards.
Accurate self-reporting of daily activities.

Requirements:

Higher education.
Proficient in English language, both written and verbal (at least B2 level).
Good communication skills.
Basic math skills for calculating payments and adjustments.
Analytical skills and attention to detail.
Previous claims processing experience is an advantage.
Ability to work USA shifts permanently: 03:00 PM - 00:00 AM
