Depositary Services team is a part of Large Corporates & Institutions Services (LC&I) unit; Corporate, Institutional & Investment Banking Services (CIIB) area. Our team is located in Vilnius and consists of 6 team members together with Team Leader. At the moment we are looking for a 7th team member.
As a member of Depositary Services, you will get an opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of financial instruments and investment funds and you will also have a possibility to contribute towards development of Depositary Services offering in Danske Bank.
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented individual who has an interest in data and financial markets. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, advanced problem-solving abilities. The prospective individual should be adept at functioning well within a collaborative environment, ensuring clear and effective dialogue with stakeholders, and consistently pursuing advancements in their expertise. Experience in depositary services or financial markets would be a great advantage.
You will:
- Monitor cash flows in or out of the funds accounts
- Make sure the fund units are issued and/or redeemed in accordance with fund rules
- Control that the fund adheres to relevant investment restrictions
- Ensure correct market value calculations
- Reconcile the funds financial instruments and cash balances
- Support your colleagues in Nordics and Lithuania in their day-to-day work
- Take a collaborative role in developing and improving existing processes by coordinating with colleagues and IT teams
About you:
- Knowledge in financial markets and being curious about investments funds
- Relevant experience in asset management or banking (working with controlling/ analysing and/or reporting) would be a beneficial asset
- Higher education degree in Finance or related field would be a beneficial asset
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel. A positive aspect would be knowledge of VBA
- Analytical mindset and good problem solving skills
- Detail-oriented, flexible, organized and have a systematic approach while performing tasks
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, and continual learning attitude
- Upper-Intermediate English skills, both written and verbal
We offer
Monthly salary range from 2000 EUR to 3000 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
