Job description:
- Perform day-to-day general accounting operations, review and control related primary documents.
- Perform month end closing activities.
- Perform Balance sheet reconciliations, including accounts payable / receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
- Provide support in auditing and year end close process.
- Implement internal controls within area of responsibility.
- Ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Analyze data and extract conclusions for internal use.
- Assist in preparing management reports and presentations.
- Provide financial support in the budget and forecast processes.
- Communication and control with external companies for payroll and tax compliance (payroll and tax are outsourced).
- Supporting local NAV users.
- Supporting local Mexico Finance team to perform according to standards.
Requirements:
- Hold a bachelors degree in finance or mathematics.
- Have 3-4 years of professional experience (senior or team lead role) (in international company would be an advantage).
- Are an experienced user of the MS Office, especially Excel.
- Are fluent in English in writing and speaking.
- Have good communication skills.
- Are curious and eager learner.
- Have a good sense of details and quality.
- Are independent, self-driven, service-minded.
- Have the willingness to take on new challenges with a can-do attitude.
