About the team

Were Wixs Design System team based in Vilnius. Our team is dedicated to ensuring the best infrastructure and processes are in place for teams to contribute changes to the library, improve system health, and make the library available to Wix users in Wix Editors and the Dev Center.

We work in small teams to create incredible things, and we believe in the magic of face-to-face collaboration. So with our office-first approach (4 days/week in the office), you'll enjoy a close-knit community and get support right away.

Job Description:

Manage the entire design cycle, from research to crafting a pixel-perfect UI for every scenario and state, all the way to handing over to development
Conduct extensive product research based on support tickets, data, usability sessions, competitor analysis, and more
Educate teams about best practices for design system usage and provide guidance to ensure consistent and cohesive user experiences across products and platforms
Monitor and analyze the use and maintenance of the design library, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing enhancements as needed to streamline design workflows and increase productivity
Map all possible scenarios and create product flows, taking charge of functional design and creating wireframes, from rough sketches to rich animated prototypes
Deliver extraordinary visual design in a fast-paced environment
Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, illustrators, UX writers, and software developers to define, design, and deliver thoughtful solutions and products

Qualifications:

A UX/UI Designer with 3+ years experience working in product teams
Strong knowledge and appreciation for all areas of UX design: user research, testing, information architecture, interaction and visual design, and UX writing
Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills with a passion for learning
Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and pixel-perfect design solutions
Familiarity with Figma (preferably), Sketch, or similar design tools
Technical background or familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript - an advantage
