The IT Service Owner Cloud BI is responsible for ensuring a smooth operation of the ContiTrade's Business Intelligence solutions, including the elaboration of solution requirements, their implementation and on-going deployment.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Work in a challenging environment with a very enthusiastic team distributed across various countries and functions
Implement, test, and document cloud-based BI solutions meeting stakeholder reporting requirements
Align and implement the BI service architecture with business stakeholders, developers and service providers (incl. negotiating of support agreements such as SLAs or OLAs)
Mange the BI solution lifecycle, covering release planning and deployments
Monitor the BI solution to ensure smooth operation according to support agreements

Solve complex problems by providing technical and operational support

To succeed in this role youd need:

Knowledge to design, build, test, release, and operate cloud-based BI solutions (such as Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, or Databricks)
Profound knowledge about Business Intelligence solution architectures (such as delta lake, lakehouse, medallion architecture)
IT Service Management know-how (e.g., ITIL Foundation)
Academic degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable qualification and work experience
Working experience in provisioning of modern BI architectures, BI backend solution development, and IT service management
Capable of collaboration in distributed working teams with business-, IT- and external partners in various countries
Business fluent English language skills (written and spoken), German language skills desirable.
