As the UK Finance Controller you will be responsible for the financial and management reporting as well as governance processes for all Catalyst Technologies businesses within GB30, providing clear business performance insight and a strong governance environment ensuring the integrity of the financial statements and safeguarding of JMs assets. This role will work closely with the shared service centre ensuring the requisite controls are in place covering Catalyst Technologies accounts and ensuring all Management Operating Reports (MOR) submissions are accurate.

The person in this role will understand the key business drivers and how they deliver the strategic goals of a Catalyst Technologies. Good communication skills are critical as is the ability to take the initiative to drive improvement and transformation. In addition, building a strong control environment to support business growth will provide the bedrock for the business.Key relationships will be with the Shared Service Sector, Catalyst Technology Finance team, and Group reporting ad Control teams.

Your responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with Group standards and statutory and JM Group governance policies.
Oversee JM Group control processes, ensuring JM Protect is up to date and all deadlines are met with high-quality data.
Serve as the CT GB30 lead, coordinating audit schedules, plans, results, and actions with external auditors.
Develop strong working relationships with the Global Financial Controller and Finance teams, fostering trust and best practice sharing.
Oversee GB30 MOR processes and management reporting, improving forecasting accuracy and the quality of financial and management reports at both BU and CT levels.
Manage the budget overheads process for GB30 costs, set targets, provide historical trend analysis, and issue standard templates to sectors.

Requirements for the role:

Significant experience in FP&A, preferably in a large corporate organization with automated big data analytic capabilities.
Experience in strategic planning and providing insightful analysis to enhance business performance.
Experience in Governance, Risk, and Controls within a large corporate setting.
Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, CIMA) is essential; equivalent qualifications are desirable.
Strong expertise in financial reporting and compliance, with a solid understanding of industry regulations.
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a proven ability to build trusted relationships and manage diverse teams.

Salary: 50 500 - 72 000 EUR (Brutto)
