Avion Express is a narrow-body ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, Insurance) and charter operator. Avion Express provides top-level short and long-term aircraft wet-leasing (ACMI) solutions and also offers its clients aircraft on a charter basis. The company operates an Airbus A320 family aircraft fleet.

Avion Express is looking for ambitious professionals to support the company's matters and further development of the company. The position is based in Vilnius, Lithuania.

ARE YOU READY TO?

• Lead the team of Maintenance Safety Officers;
• Investigate company incidents and technical / maintenance safety related occurrences;
• Be a subject matter expert to company personnel in technical safety risk management matters;
• Work closely with company management on safety matters related to CAMO and Maintenance activities;
• Monitor, identify, investigate and address safety issues and trends;
• Prepare technical safety data analysis;
• Lead technical safety meetings;
• Accommodate risk assessment process related to CAMO and Maintenance activities;
• Seek for implementation of best industry practices and improvement of safety standards;
• Deputize CAMO and Maintenance Head of Safety.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

• University or equivalent aviation education;
• Not less than 2 years experience in aeronautical industry (preferably in EASA Part-145 and/or Part-M field);
• Appropriate knowledge and qualifications in aircraft technical field;
• Knowledge of Safety Management System, safety risk management principles and practices;
• Leadership skills and an authoritative approach;
• Strong analytical skills with attention to details;
• Professional attitude, impartiality and dedication to safety;
• Excellent verbal and written command of English language;
• Computer literacy

WOULD BE CONSIDERED AN ADVANTAGE:
Experience as a Maintenance Safety Officer or qualification of Incident/ Accident Investigator
