Join our engineering software section in Vilnius
In Group IT we support more than 7,500 internal users across 90+ sites worldwide. Our environment is dynamic, and optimising BIM and other technical applications - COWIs primary production tools - is a continuous task. These tools are critical to our business and must keep pace with technological advancements and user demands. To meet these demands, we work closely with users and collaborate across our team of 140 IT professionals in Group IT, many of whom are based in Lithuania. Our goal is to deliver value to the business through professional IT support.
With increasing demand for IT services and to continue to deliver high-quality service, we are expanding our team and seeking an Application Management Support Specialist to join us in Vilnius, Lithuania. You will be part of a global team working in an international setting alongside colleagues in Lithuania, Denmark, and Norway, reporting to the Head of Section for Engineering Software in Denmark.
Our section is responsible for procuring, managing and supporting COWI's global portfolio of BIM, CAD and GIS software, including products from Autodesk, Bentley, Trimble and ESRI. These business-critical applications enhance productivity across the company, representing millions of work hours annually and carry significant business and management focus.
In this role, you will:
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents reported by end-users
- Collaborate with support teams to develop in-depth expertise in specific applications and configurations
- Train first-level support teams to enhance their ability to resolve incidents on the first call
- Ensure compliance with incident resolution targets, proactively following up on cases at risk of breaching service goals
- Identify and propose process improvements to reduce incident volume and impact
- Coordinate software installation package preparations, aligning activities across involved teams
- Gain the opportunity to expand your responsibilities over time, eventually taking on Application Management responsibility for designated applications

To succeed in this position, you should be a collaborative professional with a technical background, effective stakeholder management skills, and motivated by delivering a good end-user experience.
Furthermore, you should have:
- A degree in IT or Engineering, with experience working in IT
- Solid IT fundamentals with experience in professional application management in a global organisation
- Knowledge of scripting languages, such as PowerShell, is considered an advantage
- Familiarity with the ITIL framework
- Ability to organise one's own work, take initiative, and continuously develop professionally
- Effective organisational skills and stakeholder management abilities
- Interest in supporting end-users and enhancing their experience
- A collaborative mindsetenjoying teamwork and knowledge sharing
- Effective work management, including planning, prioritisation, and delivery
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken

Salary for this position starts from 2600 to 3500 EUR before taxes. We believe in your professional capability; therefore the final offer will be based on your skills and experience.
