Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side logic and architecture of our software applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, deploy, and maintain services and applications.
Manage the product lifecycle from concept through launch.
Understand system designs and correct them where needed.
Design the code, develop the tests.
Implement CI/CD pipelines using Git.
Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Develop and maintain APIs for web, applied and mobile applications.
Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.
Mentor junior developers and lead backend projects

Requirements:

Proficiency in server-side programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
Strong understanding of database architecture and management.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control using Git.
Knowledge of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Azure Machine Learning services.
Expertise in architecting and developing backend systems using Python; extensive experience in FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
Strong proficiency in building RESTful Python backends using a microservices architecture.
Knowledge of databases systems, data model design and experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
Experience with AI and machine learning technologies
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Backend Engineer or in a similar role. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Advanced certifications or relevant coursework are a plus.
Comfortable working both collaboratively and independently in a rapidly changing environment with ever-changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with AI and machine learning technologies.
Familiarity with cloud platforms as Azure, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of data visualization libraries and tools.
Strong presence of strategic and business thinking.
