We are looking for the Head of IT LTG Digital. LTG Digital is at the core of JSC „Lithuanian Railways“ digital transformation journey, which currently consists of no less than over 40 IT projects, around 150 open IT demands and involves over 250 digital professionals. The scope of the ambitious strategy ranges from modernizing the whole infrastructure, renovating traffic management system, strengthening as a multi-cloud company and upgrading the core ERP solution for the entire organization to delivering modern Digital solutions for businesses (such as freight planning system, smart ticketing, CRM, ECM) and enabling business self-service capabilities through platformization (self-service analytics & citizen development).

What you will do

You’ll be managing complex challenges in an extremely demanding and dynamic environment, making decisions on target and interim enterprise IT architectures thus having direct impact and influence over business transformation by leveraging the newest technologies, hungry for result team and best practices.

Set objectives and strategies for the IT function in alignment with business strategy
Deliver a high-performing IT operational model to implement ambitious IT strategy
Direct and organize a number of IT-related projects
Design and customize technological systems and platforms to improve end-user experience
Select and implement suitable technology to streamline operations and help optimize their benefits
Ensure cost-effective delivery of services, respond with agility to changing business priorities
Participate in the guidance and direction of the organization through different committees as a member of the senior executive team
Build and maintain relationships with other executives to understand business needs
Stay current on new technologies to discover ways the company can gain competitive advantage.
Provides strategic direction in the organization's innovation efforts and role in experimenting with new solutions to take advantage of those opportunities

5+ years in IT director or similar role leading an organization of multiple different teams in IT operations, technology, data, IT governance, Information systems mgmt. and overseeing large IT projects
Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, organization design, leadership, prioritization and decision-making skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization
Strong business acumen
Good understanding of evolving digital trends in industry
Problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset
Ability to align multiple strategies and ideas
Demonstrated commitment to the industry with a passion for LTG Group`s mission to connect people and businesses
Exceptional team management skills, 5+ years of managerial experience
