We are on a mission to be an algorithmic listing platform with seamless transactions and easy upload of your inventory. We currently have 10 people in sales and customers success. The IT team of Sensus formerly Locatory.com has been moved we restarted and rebuilt the team externally first and then sourced internally. The individual will have the chance to set up his own team and develop him/her self towards the CTO position.

Responsibilities: 

• Building an algorithmic purchasing/listing platform for a $100B aircraft material industry;
• Provide leadership to development projects that improve the functionality, reliability, scalability, and security of the product;
• Developing technology strategy and architecture;
• Adopting new technologies to scale and enable the industry to efficiently buy/sell their stock;
• Responsible for setting up a tech stack for an MVP and keeping the platform scalable;
• Responsible for innovating and owning the data, backend logic;
• Participating in planning and designing customer interfaces;

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a similar position;
• Knowledge of modern PHP, Frameworks, databases;
• Experience building platforms and API's to meet a wide variety of use cases;
• Experience making complex data-driven business decisions;
• Great technical leadership skills;
• Technical background is a must;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
• Agile development experience is a big plus;
• Ability to understand the highly technical subject matter and clearly communicate it to both technical and non-technical audiences;
• Good understanding of software engineering - processes, release management, version control;
