Prokopius (Prokopius Underwriting Agency, Lithuania) is an official Lloyd’s Coverholder, authorized to underwrite insurance risks (enter into contracts of insurance) on behalf of the world’s most recognized insurance organization Lloyd’s. We underwrite risks and distribute specialized insurance products across Central Eastern Europe region.

Primary Responsibilities

Review, evaluate and price submissions by applying sound underwriting judgment and adhering to company policy and state regulations within established authority
Determine the terms and conditions of the insurance contract (insured events, exclusions, special conditions), produce and process insurance contract documentation ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations and guidelines
Provide an advanced level of submission review and analysis of complex cases, write detailed risk descriptions and arguments for special acceptance correspondence and negotiations with an Insurance Undertaking
Assist with the review and analysis of the portfolio to evaluate progress toward business objectives and proactively identify opportunities, areas for development and improvement
