The Associates in the Data & Analytics team are working with the Analysts in Moody’s credit ratings process. The Associate role provides a range of support services to the overall credit analysis function, including financial data analysis, research, analytical outreach and presentations.

As an Associate, you will:
• Analyze financial statements with focus on credit conditions
• Prepare tables and charts from annual reports and financial data
• Prepare presentation materials for outreach activities
• Write commentaries and identify trends in data
• Support data gathering for research projects
• Develop working knowledge of Moody’s methodologies
• Support updating various sector specific databases

• Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent qualification in Economics, Finance, Business administration, Accounting or similar field
• Accounting background with strong focus in financial analysis (e.g., through coursework, CFA or similar certificates, or relevant work experience) would be an advantage
• Knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Proven verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills, with ability to adapt to a changing environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality, accurate work
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Proficient in English, any other foreign language would be an advantage
