Having in mind the above, we’re looking for an engineer who could join our SRE team and help the company to grow faster. One of our strengths as a company is autonomous and empowered teams. That being said - we as SRE build a platform for experienced teams that they would be able to choose, spin and observe standard building blocks easily.
What you’ll do @Omnisend:
- Building self-service for datastores (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis);
- Ensuring that Experience teams can spin and observe datastores autonomously;
- Logs, metrics and alerts reach Prometheus, Loki;
- Spreading knowledge in terms of how to use standard building blocks;
- Experimentation with new stack elements or services;
- Syncing knowledge with other SRE Engineers in terms of Kubernetes, Observability, Data transport and other technologies and practices.

We expect that you’ll bring:
- Hands-on experience with any datastore (preferably MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis);
- Understanding and knowledge of IaaS (Terraform, Ansible, etc.);
- Experience with building CI/CD pipelines;
- Knowledge of cloud services (any major cloud provider);
- Good knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, Debian);
- Battlefield experience with Kubernetes and Helm (plus);
- Golang knowledge (huge plus).
